This is a book club with a plot twist. Each month we pick a health or wellbeing title to read on the move. Listen to it while walking to work, stretching before bed, or pottering in the garden. Read between sets at the gym or take it out on a hike. All formats welcome. All movement counts.

The best way to do this is whatever way you'll do it. Whether that's a few minutes a day or an hour at a time. We offer structured weekly coaching prompts for those who want it and flexibility for those who need it with optional levels of interaction.

Instead of holding a discussion, every Sunday we share journal prompts, coaching questions and polls throughout so you can meaningfully reflect in your own time and feedback if you choose to. At the end of month we round up your revelations into a community insight review so you can see what resonated with everyone else.

Book Of The Month
We’re kicking things off with Atomic Habits by James Clear because it speaks to something we all wrestle with in different ways - building habits, breaking patterns and feeling in control of where our time, energy and attention goes.
This book offers clear, practical tools to help understand how habits work, why they stick (or don’t), and how tiny shifts can lead to meaningful change.
It’s not about overhauling your routine overnight—it’s about finding what works for you and building from there. (which is what Active Book Club is all about too!)
(Important note: Book not included. You will need to source the title from your chosen listening platform, e-reader, library or bookstore)

My mum lives abroad and it's nice to have something that we can do together apart. We're going to listen to a couple of chapters a week and keep each other accountable.
It's really hard to commit to anything when you have a chronic illness because you never know how you're going to feel. This feels like something I'll actually be able to do and be part of without feeling like I'm letting anyone down
It feels like such a good use of time to combine reading, moving and learning. There are books I've been meaning to read for years, this is such a good format to get through them!
I work from home and the days all blur together. I'm going use this to get out for a 'walk to work' in the mornings
I've always wanted to be part of a book club but I never have time finish the book, I'm excited about this because I can definitely find a 15 minutes a day to dip in and out of the chapters that are interesting and I need to move more
